Annie holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Rehabilitation Counselling [Honours]) and a Masters of Occupational Therapy Practice. Annie has experience working as a therapist in both private practice and school systems, working with children from varying backgrounds, aged 2-18 years.
Annie's particular interest is supporting children with a variety of diagnoses and their families. She specialises particularly in Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Delays, Intellectual Disability, Developmental Coordination Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Anxiety, and Rare Congenital Disorders.
Outside of her clinical Occupational Therapy practice, Annie has worked in public health and art therapy research and has taught at the university level. She has additional training in neurodiversity affirming practices to help support children realise their individual strengths and build confidence.

Strive's approach is family-centred and within the context of the child's home, community and school life. Annie provides one-to-one carer/parent or teacher consultations as part of their regular sessions. This approach supports children in achieving their essential occupational goals.
